The sign of busy hospital is the sign of a trusted hospital. Our goal is to have the finest hospital in the area.

 Dear Pet Owners,

South Coast Veterinary Hospital is one of the finest pet care facilities in Southern California. We believe that the quality, compassion and knowledge we provide are the foundation for superior pet care and we strive to achieve these high standards at all times. We provide advanced medical and surgical care as well as all basic pet care.

Our medical director, Dr. Edward Song was certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specializing in Canine and Feline Specialty. ABVP Diplomates offer proven knowledge and expertise above and beyond other veterinarians and have earned the privilege to specialize in the treatment of dogs and cats. By this achievement, we demonstrates a strong commitment to the best possible care for your pet.

Our goal is to have the finest hospital in the area. We are continually upgrading our facility so that we can have the best diagnostic testing, the safest anesthetic procedures, and the most advanced surgical equipment that can be found anywhere. Equally important to us, is that we have a friendly, well trained staff to make your visit to our hospital a pleasant experience.

We provide all basic pet care, as well as advanced pet care services by the board certified canine and feline specialist, which include: tumor/bone surgeries, TTA surgery for torn ACL/CCL knee, endoscopy, laparoscopy, eye surgery, laser surgery, on-site digital X-rays, heart & abdominal ultrasound, non-anesthetic and anesthetic dentistry, needle/laser acupuncture therapy and herb therapy, and laboratory testing. You will see the reasons why we get many referral clients from our existing clients. We also provide veterinary care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pocket pets and reptiles. We also provide all basic general care at our clinic.

South Coast Veterinary Hospital is open 6 days a week, including all day Saturdays (Mon-Fri: 8 am-6 pm, Sat: 8:30 am-1 pm). We are closed on Sunday. Please feel free to ask for a tour of our facility. We know you will appreciate our clean office, our caring staff and convenient hours and location.

Very Truly Yours,

Dr. Edward Song and Associates

* VACCINE CLINIC on Tuesdays & Saturdays All Day!

We are happy to offer a Vaccine Clinic on Tuesdays and Saturdays all day. If your pet is in (1) good health and (2) has had a physical exam from a veterinarian within the past year, then our vaccine clinic is a low cost alternative for your pet to receive vaccinations and parasite prevention. Please have your pet's vaccine history or vaccine certificate ready in order to speed up your visit. Also bring your pet's stool sample (thumb size) in a small zip lock or we can get it here from your pet. However, we strongly recommend bi-annual examination by licensed veterinarians. Walk-ins welcome. Vaccine is the corner stone of the disease prevention. Please watch this video from Dr. Richard Goldstein, Associate professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine, Ithaca, NY Another link about "Benefits versus Risk" All policies and schedule are subject to change without notice. Please call South Coast Veterinary Hospital (949) 249-7777 to confirm.
